How EU Bra Sizing Works
European bra sizing uses centimeters for the band measurement, incrementing by 5: 60, 65, 70, 75, 80, and so on. This corresponds to the actual underbust measurement in centimeters. US sizing uses inches (30, 32, 34...).
The quick conversion formula: subtract 10 from the EU band and divide by 2.5, then add 30. For example, EU 75: (75 - 65) / 2.5 + 30 = 34. Or simply remember the common pairs: EU 65 = US 30, EU 70 = US 32, EU 75 = US 34, EU 80 = US 36.
Cup sizes are simpler in the EU system — they use a straight A through I progression without the double letters (DD, FF, GG) found in US and UK sizing. EU D = US D, but EU E = US DD, and EU F = US DDD.
